My Services
-
These sessions are designed to uncovery your history, past, present and future and help understand why you have come to be who you are to better help yourself heal and recover.
-
Although these sessions include some talking and debriefing, their main focus is to explore and experience sensation and states in the body to aid in our healing of our dysregulated nervous systems by learning several stress management techniques.
-
These sessions are designed to do targeted and specific work such as learning to feel and identify feelings, challenge core beliefs, regulate my nervous system, goal set, habits and more.
-
These sessions are done in collaboration with Chris Ostor. We focus on the coupleship in collaboration as well as doing indivdidual sessions. We follow Imago Therapy and Dialogue (by Harviille Hendrix) when working with couples. Family support for those struggling with mental or physical illness.
-
Collaboratively we create the life you want body, mind, soul & home. Using behaviour and habit creating strategies and tips we will set up goals and plans to get you where you want to be. In home sessions are also included.
-
Supervision & Consultation
We offer clinical supervision and professional consultation to support therapists in delivering ethical, effective, and confident care.
Supervision provides structured guidance, skill development, and accountability for clinicians in training or early practice.
Consultation offers collaborative insight and case-based support for experienced therapists seeking perspective and growth.Grounded in real-world practice, our approach strengthens both clinical skill and the safe, effective use of self.
TRAUMA INFORMED THERAPY
Rather than asking “What is wrong with you?”, trauma-informed therapy asks,
“What happened to you?” and “How has your nervous system learned to survive?”
-
This approach understands that symptoms such as anxiety, depression, overthinking, emotional overwhelm, people-pleasing, perfectionism, irritability, panic, chronic stress, disconnection, relationship difficulties, or emotional shutdown are often adaptive responses to difficult life experiences, not personal flaws.
A trauma-informed therapist works with sensitivity, collaboration, and respect for each client’s pace and lived experience. The focus is not only on symptoms, but on creating emotional safety, trust, connection, and long-term healing.
-
Trauma-informed therapy creates a safe, supportive, and non-judgmental space where clients can begin to:
Understand the root of their emotional and behavioural patterns
Learn how trauma impacts the brain, body, and nervous system
Develop healthier coping strategies and emotional regulation skills
Build safety within themselves and their relationships
Reconnect with their sense of self, confidence, and resilience
Move from survival mode toward healing, balance, and empowerment
-
Trauma-informed therapy may support individuals experiencing:
Anxiety and chronic stress
Depression and burnout
Childhood trauma or attachment wounds
PTSD or complex trauma
Relationship challenges
Emotional dysregulation
Grief and loss
Low self-worth
People-pleasing or boundary difficulties
Nervous system overwhelm and chronic hypervigilance
Healing is not about “getting over it.” It is about understanding your story, supporting your nervous system, and creating new experiences of safety, connection, and self-compassion.
