MALE TOXICITY
a set of harmful, socially constructed norms about how men should behave, often associated with negative impacts on men themselves, women, and society as a whole
REACTIVITY
understanding the difference between reactive anger and making a conscious choice to respond is crucial. Reactive anger is an impulsive, often automatic response to a perceived threat or provocation, while a chosen response involves a deliberate decision to handle the situation in a way that aligns with your values and goals.
SMART PHONES
Excessive smartphone use has been linked to a range of negative mental health impacts, including increased anxiety, depression, sleep disturbances, and reduced attention span. Constant notifications and social media exposure can contribute to feelings of inadequacy, loneliness, and low self-esteem. Over time, reliance on smartphones for distraction or validation may hinder emotional regulation, reduce real-life social interactions, and increase stress levels.
A Mission to Empower Men
I’m here to support men in reconnecting with their sense of purpose—helping them embrace their natural roles as providers, protectors, and mentors.
In today’s world, many men feel disconnected, unsure of their identity, and uncertain about their place in society. Shifting expectations and cultural changes have left some men feeling lost—waiting for life to give them direction, instead of stepping into it with confidence and clarity.
But manhood doesn’t have to be confusing.
Historically, men have held vital roles within families and communities—not just as breadwinners, but as moral anchors and guiding figures. I believe those values still matter. Through mentorship, self-reflection, and supportive community, we can redefine masculinity for today’s world—balancing strength with emotional depth, and leadership with compassion.
My mission is to help men:
Reclaim a deep sense of purpose
Develop emotional and mental resilience
Build meaningful relationships
Live with intention, integrity, and strength
This is about more than personal growth—it's about legacy. Together, we can shape a version of manhood that uplifts, inspires, and sets a powerful example for the next generation.
Sincerely,
Chris Ostor
More Than a Therapist — A Human First
Before anything else, I’m a human being — a mother, a wife, an entrepreneur, and a clinician. But at the core of my work is something even more personal: I’m a wounded healer.
I know what it means to struggle — and to heal. That lived experience shapes everything I do. It allows me to show up with empathy, depth, and authenticity — meeting my clients not from a place of expertise alone, but from shared humanity.
Connection is the foundation of healing. We are wired to seek it — to feel seen, heard, and understood. And in a world where disconnection is often the norm, therapy becomes a powerful space to rebuild that essential bond.
In my practice, I specialize in helping individuals and families untangle complex dynamics, including:
Codependency and co-addiction
Intergenerational trauma and childhood wounds
Chronic stress, emotional overwhelm, and addiction cycles
I work closely with parents, couples, women, mothers, and young adults — people navigating identity, relationships, and recovery in all its forms.
If you’re wondering whether healing is possible, or what it could look like for you — let’s talk. There’s power in being met exactly where you are.
